Vernon Economic Development Association (VEDA) was formed in January of 2006 as a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization. It is funded by memberships and donations from businesses, municipalities and community members. Our mission is to create economic wealth and prosperity while preserving our rural Vernon County lifestyle. VEDA can help you start or expand your business with one-to-one counseling, access to resources and a variety of locations to fit your needs. VEDA co-coordinates the Vernon-Crawford Inventors and Entrepreneurs Club. It's a way to explore your idea, find resources to help you, or connect with a network of peers for motivation and support. Everyone is welcome! Meetings are free of charge and are held the second Tuesday of every month at the Gays Mills Community Building, 212 Main Street in Gays Mills. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., the program starts at 6:30 p.m. Come early to meet other creative people and browse the resource table.
